Susanne Bienwald, born in Eutin. Studied philosophy, German, Romance languages and literature, and sociology in Constance, Berlin, and Hamburg.
After spending time abroad in Türkiye, Greece, and Spain and briefly working in the teaching profession, she has been working as an author and editor in Hamburg since 2001.
She is a member and board member of the Writers’ Room, Hamburg.
