Wolf-Ulrich Cropp, born in Hamburg, lives in the “Alster-Valley” of the Hanseatic City when he is not traveling. Until 1997, the graduate engineer worked as a managing director in internationally active companies. Then, he left to experience the world from a different perspective as a traveling writer and to write about it.
To date, he has published about 30 books and many short stories (also under a pseudonym). He has received literary awards, is deputy chairman of the Hamburger Autorenvereinigung e.V., on the board of the Literaturgruppe 48 e.V., a member of the VS, and on the jury of renowned literary competitions.
