Osman Öztürk was born in the province of Giresun on the Black Sea and worked for many years in various departments of the security service of the Turkish Ministry of the Interior.
He spent time abroad during his time at the Turkish embassies in Washington, D.C. and Paris. In 2007, he published his first volume of poetry.
In his books, he expresses his feelings, which range from love to loneliness, from joy to sadness, and deal with the diverse events of a human life. He reflects the cultural values of civilizational developments and knows how to depict them in lyrical forms.
