Raed Anis Al-Jishi , an internationally awarded poet and translator from Qatif, Saudi Arabia, holds an honorary fellowship in writing from the University of Iowa, USA. He is an editor (Contemporary Dialogues ) in North Macedonia. His work has been translated into many languages.
Raed Anis Al-Jishi will remind some readers of Rumi. However, his mysticism—if that is what it is—is akin to the surrealism of Octavio Paz. The strangeness of his insights always conveys a deep feeling:

In fact, you’re “burying yourself with yourself.”
